By creating an account or using Retro Collection Index (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Retro Collection Index is a tool for cataloging your personal physical video game collection, tracking wanted items, and viewing estimated market values. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
3. Accounts & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: attempting to access data that is not yours; scraping, harvesting, or bulk-extracting the catalog or other users’ data; uploading unlawful, infringing, or inappropriate content; or interfering with the Service’s operation or security.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you add (collection data, notes, images). You grant us a limited license to store and display it to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for content you upload and must have the rights to share it.
6. Third-Party Trademarks
Game titles, box art, screenshots, and console names are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners, displayed for identification and cataloging purposes only. Retro Collection Index is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any rights holder.
7. Pricing Information
Estimated values are derived from third-party marketplace listings and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not appraisals, guarantees, or offers to buy or sell, and may be inaccurate or out of date. Do not rely on them for financial decisions.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and Retro Collection Index is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
